Transfer of NSW specialist disability services to the NGO sector
To support the successful implementation of the NDIS, all NSW delivered disability support services will transfer to the non-government sector. All services will be transferred by 30 June 2018.The transfer of services refers to moving both the Home Care Service of NSW, and all the specialist disability services currently provided by FACS (those services provided by Ageing, Disability and Home Care under the old structure), to non-government organisations (NGOs).
Staff of the Home Care Service of NSW transferred to Australian Unity on 20 February 2016.
