NDP is committed to protecting and advancing the interests of people with disability and those performing carer and support roles, whether directly or indirectly. Over the past few years, with the introduction of the NDIS, the disability sector has undergone a transformative shift in policy; a change from an old system of block funding to putting people with disability front and centre, allowing them - perhaps the first time - to choose and control their funding allocations. With all things new, we need to proceed cautiously to ensure that the rights of people with disability and those working to support them are upheld. At NDP, we promote a fairer, more effective and most importantly, more inclusive disability sector.
